A truly tasty product made with Red Onions from our certified organic farm and with the addition of apple cider vinegar, bay leaf and cane sugar.
Obtained by macerating organic red onion with vinegar and sugar. The jam has a sweet and sour taste and a delicate scent of laurel.
The onion confit is excellent to accompany appetizers, it can be consumed alone, in combination with croutons, but certainly the best way to use it is with a platter of aged cheeses such as pecorino or with all types of dairy products, enhancing the taste, without cover the aroma.
When the jar is opened, the predominant scent of onion is immediately perceived. The taste is particularly intense, to which a note of laurel is added.
