A truly tasty product made with Yellow Bell Pepper from our certified organic farm and with the addition of apple vinegar, lemon and brown sugar.
For the production of Organic Pepper Confit, it is necessary to wash the peppers properly and then peel them into strips. The peppers cut in this way are cooked with sugar and lemon juice until the product is completely dissolved.
The Organic Pepper Confit is excellent to accompany appetizers, it can be consumed alone, in combination with croutons, but certainly the best way to use it is with a platter of aged cheeses such as pecorino or with all types of dairy products, enhancing the taste, without however cover the aroma.
When the jar is opened, the scent of peppers is immediately perceived and then the slight fragrance of lemon stands out on the nose. The taste is strong, with a delicate lemon note.
